Polaris Nantes

Photographer Pino Musi went to Nantes on the Polaris construction site located on the banks of the Loire. His series has been exhibited at the Arsenali Repubblicani in Pisa as part of the 2017 Architecture Biennial devoted to the theme of the City and Water.

This large urban renewal operation will host 6 new buildings including : housing units, social housing units, student residence, offices, Vatel school and a 18-storeys housing tower that will be completed in January 2018. The most interesting feature of the Brossette parcel, with its porous urban space, is its ability to be crossed. Although the parcel is entirely private, all the outdoor spaces are public and open to the city.
